The Gourmet Itinerary Along The Cathar Country Vineyards; 4 Days /3 Nights :

This itinerary, meant for the gourmets wishing to discover our regional cuisine and wines, sets in the heart of the vineyards of our various appellations.
In the evening you will rest in small 3 star hotels owned by some well-known chefs who will choose for you courses and wines.
You will visit
. The Cabardes
. The Malepère and the vineyards around Limoux
. The Corbières and the Fitou
. The Minervois and the Livinière

 Fees for 2010: Half board in a 3 stars hotel, about 305€ or a dishes and wine half board program in a 3 stars hotel, about 350€.

“Les Ampélofolies du Cabardès”, 3 days/2 nights
(from January 22th to 24th of 2009) :  

This traditional event around the truffle mushroom and wines from the Cabardès takes place in the village of Moussoulens located in the heart of the Cabardès on Sunday January 24th.     
You will be housed in a charming 3 stars hotel (half board) located at the top of the village of Aragon and surrounded by vineyards. You will discover the cuisine of a young reputed chef.

Fees for 2010: Half board in a 3 star hotel, about 240 €.

“La Marche du Sel” beginning july 2010:

This stroll starts, each year, from a different village to join the splendid site of the salted water spring.                      
You will leave the village after a copious rustic breakfast included in the price.                                                            
The stroll will be then punctuated with sketches about the local history.                     
The donkeys that will escort you, will bring back the salted water that you will take.

Fees for 2010: Half board in a rural 2 stars inn for 2 nights about 150 €.

“La Ronde Malepère” October 2010 :

                                                                                                                                     
An event around the wine of the "cru Malepère" which takes place every year in a different village of the appellation.  You will discover this terroir, its men and their wines along the alleys of the village.

Fees for 2009: Half board in a 3 stars hotel in Carcassonne for 2 nights including the entry fees and the tastings about 180€.

"Les Foires au Gras" in Lauragais and Minervois, in November and December including:

A three days and two nights stay on the "Foires au Gras" of the towns and villages of the Cathar Country which will allow you to buy poultries and foies gras directly to the producers and to benefit of their advice.

Fees for 2010: Full board including the regional lunch “spécial foire”, about 178€.
